This policy covers every app in the Higher or Less family and this website. The short version: no accounts, no ads, no ad tracking, and nothing about you is sold or shared for marketing.

All Higher or Less apps

No account

You never sign up or sign in. We don't ask for your name, email address, contacts, location or photos.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details or Apple ID; the app only learns whether the unlock is owned.

Game Center

Leaderboards and achievements use Apple's Game Center, if you are signed in to it. Your scores and Game Center nickname are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Anonymous usage analytics

To learn which categories people enjoy and where the game can improve, the apps send anonymous usage events to PostHog, hosted in the EU. Examples: a game started, a game ended with its score, a TV duel started, the unlock screen viewed. Each install gets a random identifier that isn't linked to your name, Apple ID or any other app. There is no session recording, no screen capture and no advertising identifier, and the data is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Higher or Less for Apple TV and iPhone

Game data

The app downloads the latest card data (populations, ratings, follower counts and so on) from our server on Cloudflare. That request carries nothing about you; like any web request it reaches the server from your IP address.

Play with Phones

For TV duels, the room relay keeps the name you enter and a random token for the life of the room (at most 2 hours). Your IP address is used only to limit how often phones can join rooms. Nothing else is stored and no identifiers are shared.

Coming games

Premier League and Geography are not released yet. Before each one launches, this page will be updated with anything specific to it.

This website

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts. The fonts are served from this site.

Children

The apps don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Because the analytics are anonymous we usually can't link any data to you, but if you have a question or want data removed, write to us and we'll help.
